 Who Are We?

Located in southeast Michigan, since 2007 the Practice Transformation Institute (PTI) has been a leading not-for-profit provider of CME and IACET- accredited experiential learning programs for implementing the principles of the patient centered medical home and other medical practice transformation and quality improvement initiatives.  Using proven learning methods and business strategies, PTI empowers healthcare transformation leaders, medical office teams and the greater healthcare community through multiple training and education initiatives that are customized to fit each organization’s specific needs.

What Do We Do?

PTI has a singular mission:  to serve as the premier provider of learning events for healthcare transformation leaders and medical practice teams.  As the name indicates, PTI is focused on learning experiences that support meaningful change and improvement in medical practices.  We provide the practice operations and coordination of care component of training that is critically important, yet typically missing, from a healthcare provider’s continuing education.  Further, we motivate the practice team to use ongoing education as a tool for individual and collective growth for the entire practice to sustain transformation.

PTI and its panel of subject matter experts deliver dynamic, interactive learning experiences.  In addition to offering training and education services that cover a variety of practice redesign and operational topics, PTI offers valuable resources and tools developed specifically for managing practice transformation.  From the development of policies and procedures to leadership and team building strategies, PTI brings a new level of training and education to the medical community

Why Do We Do It?

We believe we can improve health care delivery one practice at a time. Practice Transformation Institute is passionately committed to the use of experiential learning at all levels of an organization, training all team members to realize meaningful, sustainable change and positive, measurable movement towards established goals and objectives. Unlike other training organizations, PTI believes that transformation can only be accomplished when participants are actively engaged in the learning process, testing the tools and techniques, and not merely trained to follow the leader.
